Kent, WA – February 25, 2019: GCC, previously recognized as Gulf Controls Company, Inc. announces the hiring of Branko Horvat as Sales Manager for the Pacific Northwest region (GCC NW) to manage the sales team for the recently acquired Valin Fluid Power offices in Kent, Washington, Spokane, Washington and Portland, Oregon. GCC announced the acquisition of Valin Fluid Power assets on December 1, 2018 with intentions to grow sales of Rexroth, Lincoln and value-added solutions in Washington, Oregon and northern Idaho.
Branko joins the company with several years of experience in the fluid power industry. He worked as the Director of Product Marketing Management for Sauer Danfoss from 2001-2015, managed the western region sales for Spencer Fluid Power from 2015-2017 and was most recently Director of Product Management for a start-up tech company introducing a new power grid technology. With experience both on the manufacturer side as well as with distribution, Branko brings a diverse collection of perspectives to help GCC NW grow.
